The ability to grind odd-fluted tools (1, 3, 5, & 7) as well as even-fluted tools (2, 4, 6, & 8). This is achieved with a dual-cam workhead, the inner cam drum rotates at a 2:1 gear ratio to grind even-fluted tools while the outer cam drum rotates at a 1:1 ratio for odd- fluted tools.
